IWIN-FAO Final Narrative Report Oct 2023-Comments
I-WIN South Sudan, with support from FAO, reached 3,000 vulnerable households in Tonj North County through livelihood assistance, agricultural training, and demonstration farms. The project improved food security, farming skills, and community resilience among women, youth, IDPs, returnees, and persons with disabilities.

The project envisions a peaceful and resilient Greater Jonglei, where communities resolve disputes through inclusive dialogue rather than violence. Over the long term, youth (14-35) and women will occupy formal roles in community peace structures, leading to a 20% reduction in inter-communal clashes and enhanced inter-ethnic cooperation across Bor South County, including displaced communities from northern Jonglei now residing in Bor South

From December 2023 to April 2024, I-WIN implemented the Peacebuilding Fund project in Bor County, Jonglei State, promoting inclusive transitional justice and meaningful participation of persons with disabilities (PWDs). The project established five PWD groups, trained 100 participants on leadership and advocacy, reached over 2,000 community members through outreach activities, conducted 25 drama sessions, and hosted five radio talk shows to raise awareness on truth-telling, reconciliation, healing, human rights, and disability inclusion
